aiming for the center of the panel, i delivered a single strike with the nearest dirt tamper. i then coated the aluminum with a gradient - fading from solid tone 'light pink' down to fluorescent 'orange glow'. i fastened a simple crossbar mechanism to the back of the work which 'floats' 1.5 inches from the wall when installed
