my largest impact work to date. i delivered 5 individual 'blows' to the aluminum sheet (sledgehammer) while it was laying flat in the sand outside my studio. the paint job consists of a white base coat + black sprayed edge + fluorescent (translucent) red as final top coat. my friend, zeke raney, assisted in welding four threaded spacers to the back of the panel. i used adjustable table feet to then level the misshaped panel off of the wall for a roughly 2 inch 'floating' effect
